Eros Now Connecting With Remote Parts Of India With Microsoft

On 4th November, Microsoft reported that it has effectively delivered the internet, in partnership with Eros Now as a pilot venture, to the clients in India's low-internet geographies. The month-long pilot project utilized Microsoft Azure, content from Eros Now, and business abilities from Novopay, a computerized exchange accomplice, to drive the compass in distant topographies, guaranteeing last-mile content conveyance for perusing and downloading.

Eros Now uploaded content to a central content repository based on Microsoft Azure, that can rapidly handle vast volumes of information to distribute to hubs. Consumers connect to these hubs to safely download content to their mobile without internet connectivity.

Microsoft's Azure cloud platform to host and transfer its digital video contributions supports the US software giant's push to grow in the Indian market. Microsoft will build an online video platform for the Bollywood production house, which will offer intuitive voice search highlights in various Indian regional languages. Eros Now is the digital OTT entertainment services of Eros International Plc.

Eros International  Plc and STX Entertainment merger were announced in July this year. The combined company creates a global studio juggernaut that will be spread across three continents to increase Eros International's global footprint.
